Plot Summary: Set in the modern era, the story follows the path to romance of fourteen-year-old Kajika Burnsworth, daughter of powerful industrialist Harry Burnsworth, owner of the Burnsworth international conglomerate giant. Kajika agrees to participate in a “marriage game” with her father, in which she must select her future husband out of three men that her father has supposedly preselected for her.

Despite its shōjo-romance undertones, the story itself evolves as a power political mystery involving a small, middle eastern country called Raginei. Raginei as a country is only 1,000 years old, but became extremely wealthy within the last 50 years or so due to a change in ideals implemented by past King Machaty that allowed the international export of oil. While Kajika searches for her suitors and puzzles over the concept of love, the country is thrown into political turmoil and Kajika’s friendship with Prince Rumaty Ivan, as well as the Burnsworth relationship with Raginei, lands her right in the middle of it all.

Opinion: I am not typically a fan of harem anime, and most shoujo protagonists just annoy the blazes out of me but this series kept me on the edge of my seat for its 39 chapters. The girl is strong, charismatic, and actually cares about the boys and does something about it, not being the hindrance and damsel in distress most shoujo protagonists are. Despite her innocence, she is stubborn and does what she wants if its for the sake of others, but she’s not a Mary-Sue. She deserves a place in all those boys hearts. My only disappointment with it is that the other boys didn’t get couples at the end, but seeing their backstories it doesn’t surprise me at all. Good story, beautiful art, and loads of action! Definitely a 9/10 from me!

I havent read the manga, just found the anime, under “reverse harem”

Ok so I’m on like the ‘teens like 14 or 15 of 39 episodes.

The animation isnt bad, intriguing for me to keep watching for more than 2 or 3 episodes.

Characters are amazing. She has a couole bodyguards, one that’s around her age, who sort of sucks at, oh, bodyguarding? The other has had her back since she was young and they grew up together on an island, along with a white leopard, whom she adored but passed away.

Next are the “candidates”. First, is the “reincarnation” of the girls pet leopard. At first, he keeps her at a distance, but grows to love her and tease that he’s her fianceè and toy or pet. Hes sort of a weird one. Could go either way.

Next is a prince who becomes really close to her. The customs seem similar to an arabic and Islamic nation. I like him more and more because he seems non-traditional. Doesnt really like wearing a sacred scarf.

I think the third is coming up soon, he is a blonde who is in the princes palace
